Claudene (Moore) Parman
January 27, 1932 - May 4, 2014
Claudene Parman passed away on May 4, 2014 in her home. She was born near Versailles, Mo., on January 27, 1932. A few years later she moved to Excelsior Springs, Mo. She was part of the class of E.S.H.S. 1949. Her pride and joy was her family and friends. Claudene married Eugene (Gene) Parman on June 18, 1950.
Claudene was employed by the Vendo Co. in Kansas City, Mo., for 16 years. She was a life member of Beta Sigma Phi International, a past matron of Chapter #544 O.E.S. and the Social Order of Beauceant.
Claudene was preceded in death by her parents, son, Stephen E. Parman, and brothers, Gordon D. Moore and Danny L. Marriott.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, son, Randall Parman and wife, Billie of Harrisonville, Mo., sister, Fern Miller, brother, Dale Marriott and wife, Margaret, brother, Brad Marriott and wife, Robin, all of Excelsior Springs, Mo. Claudene had nine grandchildren, Rebekah (Parman) Buckley, Craig Vannatta, Keith Vannatta, Miriam (Parman) Rutt, Benjamin Parman, Daniel Parman, Cara Parman, Andrea (Parman) Meyer, and Kristin Parman. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday May 9, 2014 at Flack Memorial Church in Excelsior Springs, Mo. Burial to follow service at the Masonic Cemetery, also in Excelsior Springs. Visitation for Claudene will be Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Flack Memorial Church in Excelsior Springs, Mo.
Memorial contributions may be made to Salvation Army.
