Carol Renfro
Carol A. Renfro, 63, Kearney, Mo., died Monday, Jan. 17, 2011, at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Mo. Ms. Renfro was born May 18, 1947, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Raymond O. and Elvera M. Mollering Hillibrand. She was a teacher in the Kearney school system for 35 years. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Kearney. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include: her husband, Richard, of the home; her son, John Renfro; sister, Bonnie Potter and husband, Dennie; one niece, Susan Craig; and one nephew, Ben Potter.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 20, at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Kearney. Services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, Jan. 21 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Kearney. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Women, in care of First United Methodist Church, 1000 E. 92 Hwy., Kearney, MO 64060.
