Our Sincere Condolences
My husband and I had the honor of sitting behind Joe for several years during the early service at Liberty Christian Church. He was there when we were engaged, celebrated as we announced our marriage, and congratulated us as we welcomed our first child. On weeks when it was a struggle to make it to church, knowing Joe's warm handshake was waiting helped bring us back to church.
Joe would speak with me often about my job as a teacher and his love of children and learning was so evident.
I want you to know that you will never have any idea how great his impact was on our community. Even though we only saw him on a weekly basis, Joe helped change my husband and I forever. He is greatly missed.
