Our Sincere Condolences
Dear Andi,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. Please know that you and your family are in my prayers. You have many friends here in Georgia and you are missed.
Sincerely,Darlene
Sweetwater Mission (formerly C.A.M.P.)
Andi, Jim, Leota, Vera and family,
Ralph was the kindest, most gentle man I know. His kind deeds will always be remembered. Any time there was a call to help a family move, a work day at church, a Peace Mobile project to make, or a visit to administer to the sick, Ralph was there.
Ralph's prayers were deep from his heart. His humble, gentle spirit brought peace and encouragement to all. His presence and ministry will live on through his family, friends and church. We honor and celebrate the life of our dear friend. We will miss you, Ralph. Till we meet again .....

We often think of Ralph, Leota, Vera, and Vonnie and how they reached out to people with love, kindness and generosity. What a wonderful pastor and role model was Ralph. He was a modern Nephi and spent his whole life bringing the message of Christ to people no matter what the cost to him. May God's spirit be with his family at the time of sorrow mixed with joy knowing that Ralph's Spirit lives on with Jesus now.
Evangelist Iver P. Kipp, Antioch CA
What a wonderful story about his life! Some things I knew and others were new. Really liked his philosophy on playing games!! Thought my son to play Monopoly that way much to the consternation of his sister! He was certainly a very busy man! Glad we all got to know him.

Ralph was a fine friend and gentleman. He loved to greet people and always greeted us. Ralph was special. We will always remember him and keep him in our prayers.

I was very sorry to hear of Ralph's passing but I know my mom, Helen Wheeler, was one of the first to greet him. Mom passed away about 9 years ago. Ralph & Leota were one of the first people to greet me when I came back to Platte Woods. We will miss you Ralph, but we know you are with the savior of the world. See you in the future.
Your sister & brother in Christ,

Robert and I count it a blessing to have met and spent some time with Ralph and Leota! We will always remember the board games that Ralph invented and that we got to play with him. I especially remember one time when I was sitting in Leota's room while Robert was playing a game with Ralph. Leota told me that she was so happy that my husband made her husband so happy ... she said that Ralph could tell if someone wanted to play with him or just felt like they had to. LOL. Our prayers are with Leota as she is left behind to await the reunion with her sweet husband! I know it has to be hard on her, as I'm sure it is on Andria and Jim. Prayers, hugs and love to you all!

Sending hugs, kisses and prayers of peace to Andi, Jim, Vera, and Leota. The two times I met Ralph in church...he was truly an angel on earth.

Dear Leota, Andria, Jim and Vera. So sorry to hear that Ralph has passed. I always enjoyed going to church with him at Platte Woods. Even though he is with Jesus now, I know how much you will miss him. Keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

I will always remember Ralph's heartfelt smile when he greeted you ... and those hugs. What a special man he was. You couldn't help but be uplifted when you were around him. His love for people and God was always evident. Several times Ralph helped me with things at my house. And he gave so unselfishly to the Children's Peace Center to educate children about peaceful living. There is no word in the dictionary to describe how giving he was. I missed Ralph terribly when he was not able to come to church often. But oh how wonderful were the days he was there. We all missed him when he moved, and of course, now, with his passing. But he is in God's loving arms. I am blessed to have known Ralph.

A wonderful man with a beautiful spirit. His presents with us will be greatly missed. I can't help but imagine him flying around in his "Heavenly plane" watching over us. Knowing how mischievous he could be, I also see him yelling, "Watch this!" and doing crazy tricks because, well, he can. Blessings...

I am so glad that I met Ralph and Leota. I remember him helping clean and clear out Ruth Ann and Earl Bodenhausen's home. I have heard about the two of them for many years. I am rejoicing as I now know him even better through reading the obituary and condolences. What a delightful man this world was blessed with for so many years. How wonderful to celebrate Ralph and Leota's 68th wedding anniversary. More of his family could be with them because of their recent move back to Missouri. Ongoing prayers, gentle hugs, and love to Leota, Vera, Andi and Jim and the rest of his beloved family.
Barb Landers, St Joseph, MO ( I think you know my sister in law Carolyn and of yes my brother too.
Thanks for the wonderful information of Ralph's life - My thoughts and prayers are filled with love for all His family members - While Ralph was Pastor in Sarasota/Bradenton Congregation, he personally presented the "call" of Priesthood Office to me. I knew him as a loving, humble and spiritual follower of Christ. I am grateful for the opportunity of knowing him. I look forward to "knowing" Ralph again.
