Deana Joyce Halberstadt
Deana Joyce Halberstadt, 75, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away January 31, 2014.
Joyce was born September 7, 1938 in Clinton, Ind., to Charles and Delena Kelly Birch. In 1955, Joyce married Bob Halberstadt. They were married 60 years. Joyce worked for 25 years at H&R Block as a tax preparer. She was also a member of Women Of The Moose. Joyce and Bob loved camping and often volunteered at Watkins Mill.
Survivors include husband, Bob Halberstadt Sr.; mother, Delena Cook; sons, William (Belinda) Halberstadt and Robert (Renee) Halberstadt Jr.; daughters, Katrina Jeppersen and Pam (Michael) Swoboda; sister, Kathy (Ed) Chaney; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
A memorial visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs. The family requests no flowers but instead ask for any donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
