Dorothy LaBrie
Dorothy M. LaBrie, 80, passed away December 4, 2012 at Parkview Health
Center in Oshkosh, Wisc., where she lived for the last eight years.
Dorothy was born June 24, 1932 to Earl Lyannas and Myrtle (Gray)
Lyannas in Lake Tomahawk, Wisc. On
January 27, 1951 Dorothy married Robert A. LaBrie, who passed away on
August 11, 1997. Dorothy worked
as a waitress, certified nurses’ aide, and most importantly, a
homemaker for her family. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church.
Dorothy is
survived by her children. Orlana (Pete) Peerenboom of Nokomis, Fla.,
Donald (Leanna) LaBrie of Kearney, Mo., Pam (Randy) Smart of Excelsior
Springs, Mo., Carla (Randy) Knaggs of Oshkosh, Wisc., as well as eight
grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Dorothy was
preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation for
Dorothy will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012 at Bross
& Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs. Funeral services will be
at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec 15, 2012 at St. Ann Catholic Church in
Excelsior Springs, Mo. Burial will follow at Hill Crest Cemetery, also
in Excelsior Springs. Msgr.
William Caldwell C.PP.S. will officiate.
