Doris McDermott
Doris Stanberry McDermott, 97, Excelsior Springs, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 28, 2011, at the Excelsior Springs Convalescent Center.
Ms. McDermott was born Feb. 7, 1914, to Earl and Susie Stanberry. She retired from Farmland Industries and was a member of Woods Memorial Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Don Stanberry.
Survivors include her sisters-in-law, Alta McDermott, Excelsior Springs, and Norma Stanberry, Oakland, Calif.; and one nephew, Charles Stanberry, Oakland, Calif.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 4, at the Masonic Cemetery in Excelsior Springs. Arrangements are through Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs.
