Dale Parker
Dale E. Parker, 73, of Holt, Mo., passed away December 16, 2011. Dale was born June 24, 1938, in Conway, Iowa, the son of Frank and Esther Saville Parker. He served in the United States Air Force. He was an accountant for H & R Block, and in his retirement he enjoyed working at Kramer Hardware in Kearney. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Kearney. He was married 49 years to his loving wife, Kathy, who survives him.
Dale is also survived by his daughters, Becky Schrivener and husband, Todd, of Kearney, and Melissa Roberts and husband, Jeffrey, of Holt; his son, Brian Parker and wife, Emily, of Arcadia, Mo.; his sisters, Helen Gutt, Marge Scherrueble, and Joyce Manship; his brother, Doyle Parker; grandchildren, Logan, Heather, Amanda, Gus, and Nadia; and many loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 20, at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Kearney, Mo. Visitation will be Monday, December 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
