Donna Rae (Killam) Wedgeworth
Donna Wedgeworth, 68, Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away November 6, 2015.
Donna was born December 12, 1946 to Raymond and Anna Salina (Howell) Killam in St. Louis, Mo. Donna worked many jobs throughout her life. She owned her own restaurant, drove a school bus, worked in the cafeteria at Richmond School District and was even a prison guard for a time, but the job that she was most proud of was her time working for the Shelter Workshop in Richmond, Mo.
However, what remained constant throughout her life was her love for her children and, later, grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her children, Kim (Wedgeworth) Bush and husband, Brian, and Troy Wedgeworth and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Salina Bush and husband, Robert Ashcraft, Natalie Bush and fiancé, Tyler Talley, Neann Wedgeworth, Emily Bush and Thomas Wedgeworth.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at the West Tracy Church of Christ, 27404 NE 144th St., Excelsior Springs, Mo. The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Special Olympics.
Arrangements are through Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.
