Eddie E. Berry
Eddie E. Berry, 81, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away May 30, 2016. He was born February 8, 1935 to Luther and Bernice Berry of rural Liberty, Mo.
Ed served in the U.S. Army in 1954. He retired from Ford Motor Company March 1, 1982. He enjoyed woodworking, tinkering with old cars, and collecting various items. His motto should have been "One man's junk is Ed Berry's treasure".
Ed was preceded in death by a son, Chris Berry, and grandsons, Jeffrey Pike, Christopher Berry, and Jason Pike.
He is survived by his wife, Ina; brother, Jim Berry; daugthers, Pam Pike (Larry), Gwen Slack (John), and Marilyn Miller (Dan); sons, Dale Berry and Mitch Berry (Lynn); step-sons, Larry Crowley (Kathy), Mark Crowley, and Paul Crowley; foster son, Randy Tustion; 15 grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 17 step-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2016, with funeral services Friday, June 3, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, 217 W. Broadway, Excelsior Springs. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery with Military honors.
