Elizabeth Ann Day
Elizabeth Ann Day, 78, Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away April 4, 2016.
Elizabeth was born August 4, 1937 to Russell and Nellie Light in Phelps County, Mo. She was a member of the Lawson Assembly of God Church. Elizabeth was a talented crafter that enjoyed sewing, puzzles, and quilting. She was also a sports fan that enjoyed Nascar and wrestling.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William H. Day; and a brother, "Bud" Light.
She is survived by her children, Cathy (John) Arthurs, Ernest Corum, and Lesa Pigg; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Audrey Ballinger and Velma Brown; and a brother, Wayne Brown.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 6 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2016 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs, with memorial service immediately following.
