Eugene H. Patten
Eugene H. Patten, 80, Kearney, Mo., passed away November 18, 2015.
Eugene was born February 9, 1935 to Harley and Clara Belle Patten in Smith Center, Kansas. He was an Army veteran. Eugene was an electrical engineer for KCPL before his retirement.
Eugene was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joann Probst.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; sons, Eugene II (April) Patten and Thomas (Merlita) Patten; daughters, Brenda Hampton and Susan Mayfield; nine grandchildren; brother, Floyd Patten; and a sister, Alberta Baber.
A memorial mass will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at The Church of the Annunciation, Kearney, Mo., burial following at Fairview Cemetery, Kearney, Mo.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to The American Cancer Society or The Church of the Annunciation, Kearney, Mo.
Arrangements are through Fry-Bross Spidle Funeral Home, Kearney.
