Frederick Chapin
Frederick Harold Chapin, 70, Holt, Mo., lost his battle to ALS on
October 3, 2012. Frederick was born January 28, 1942, the son of Earl
Rea and Olive Mariah Crawford Chapin in Lexington, Neb.
He served in Vietnam, retiring from the Air Force as Sr. Master
Sergeant after 23-1/2 years of service. Mr. Chapin was an Ordained
Minister. After his military career he worked and retired from the post
office. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great
grandfather. Fred enjoyed hunting, fishing and, in later years, playing
golf with his brother.
He was preceded
in death by his parents and two siblings.
Survivors
include his wife, Judy of the home; son, Bill Chapin; daughter Debra
Bradley; brothers, Rea and Jon Chapin; and sister, Sherry Beaufeaux;
five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2012 at
the First Baptist Church of Kearney.
