Gloria Edwards
Gloria Marie Edwards, 74, of Kearney, Mo., passed away March 2, 2013 at
Liberty Hospital. Gloria was born September 21, 1938 in Mulberry,
Kans., to Atlee and Gladys Fish Stewart. She was one of 15 siblings. On
October 28, 1966, Gloria married Victor Edwards. They were married 46
wonderful years.
During her life, Gloria worked as a clerk in the County Licensing
Office. Gloria was also a member of LWML at St. Stephens Church, a 4H
leader, and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Kearney.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings.
Survivors include her husband, Victor Edwards of the home; daughter,
Vicki (Michael) Kimmel; son, John (April) Edwards; son, Adam (Allie)
Edwards; grandchildren, Christopher (Stephanie) Kimmel, Zachary Kimmel,
Ethan Kimmel, Halie Kimmel, John V. Edwards, Brianna Fiscus, Raelin
Fiscus, Aggie Edwards, Atlee Edwards, and Alton Edwards; great
grandchildren, Grace Kimmel and Annabelle Kimmel. Gloria is also
survived by eight siblings, Vera Morris, Marilyn Henegar, Betty Lyden,
Verna Stewart, Linda Case, Harold Stewart, Gary Stewart, and Kathy
Henegar.
Visitation for Gloria will be Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 6 to 7:30
p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Kearney, Mo. Funeral services led by
Pastor Drew Newman will be Friday, March 8 at 11 a.m., also at Trinity
Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Kearney, Mo.
