Glenda Collette Pulse
Glenda Collette Pulse, 76, Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away March 9, 2014 at her home. Glenda was born May 19, 1937 to Glen and Opal (Peebles) Ware in Excelsior Springs, Mo.
She worked for many years at the Elms Hotel, as the food and beverage director. Until recently, she was employed by the Apple Bus Company in Excelsior Springs, Mo.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Jean Beason and Nancy Shearer; and a brother, Bill Ware.
She is survived by her children, RaeAnn (Pat) Burke, Steve (Renee) Pulse, Jim (Christie) Pulse, Shannon (Randy) Cook; 16 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; sisters, Pat Wartenbee and Judy Swope; a brother, Gary Ware; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014 at The Montgomery Event Venue in Excelsior Springs, Mo. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials to The Ella Jewell Foundation for neutropenia research in honor of her great-grandson, Hudson Keenan.
Arrangements are through Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.
