Hildred Pendelton
Hildred Jane Pendelton, 94, formerly of Hamilton, Mo., died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009. Ms. Pendelton was born Nov. 7, 1914, in Marble, Mo., the daughter of Asa L. and Letha M. Stubblefield. She graduated from the University of Kansas and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution Major Molly.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Pendelton and wife, Nancy, Aurora, Colo., and Raymond Pendelton, Jacksonville, Fla.; a daughter, Sandra Stratton, Missouri; 14 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 29, at the Kingston Cemetery in Kingston, Mo. Arrangements are through Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Association.
