Imogene H. Adams
Imogene H. Adams, 99, passed away peacefully October 31, 2016 at the Excelsior Springs Convalescent Center. The daughter of Bert and Sarah Hartman, she was born in Ray County, Mo., on February 15, 1917.
Imogene worked at the Lake City Ammunition plant, Linda Lane sewing factory, and Avsco plastic manuracturer where she retired. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and two sisters.
Imogene is survived by her daughters, Wanda (Paul) Meritt, La Grange, Ky., and Wanetta (Gary) Clevenger of Excelsior Springs; sister, Maxine Travillion, Richmond, Mo.; brother, Arlo Hartman, Excelsior Springs; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs, Mo., with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to service. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
