Imogene "Jean" Louis Cleek
Jean Cleek, 85, Kearney, Mo., passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015.
Jean was born August 2, 1929, the daughter of Aldine Blake and Jesse Gloria Wilson in Hydro, Okla. She was a founding member of Tryst Falls Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher and Girls Auxiliary leader. She was also a Girl Scout Leader for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Cleek; brothers, Walter, C. Woodrow "Woody", Ira, Jesse, and Joedy Wilson; grandchildren, Robert Maddin, Sandy Williams, and Leslie Darling Bailey.
She is survived by her children, Connie (Keith) Maddin, Debbie Williams, James C. (Carol) Cleek, and Mary Levy; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Tryst Falls Baptist Church, 22610 Missouri 92 Hwy., Kearney, Mo., with funeral service immediately following. Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Branson City Cemetery, Branson, Mo. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Tryst Falls Baptist Church.
Arrangements are through Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Kearney, Mo.
