Joyce Elaine Ables
Joyce Elaine (Odell) Ables, 70, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., died Friday, April 24, 2015, at Liberty Hospital.
Joyce was born June 21, 1944. She was the daughter of Nancy Marie (Odell) Cooper. She lived her entire life in the Excelsior Springs, Mo. area. She married Gerald Ables Sr. on November 1, 1963. She was employed at Excelsior Springs Hospital until she retired.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Ables Sr., one sister, Billie Ware, and two brothers, Frank Crawford and Tommy Crawford.
Survivors include one son, Duane Ables, of the home, one sister, Jessie Rowlett, and two brothers, Wes Crawford and Raymond Crawford.
Cremation, no services are scheduled.
Arrangements are through Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs, Mo.
