Jon D. Bremer

Jon D. Bremer, 50, Kearney, Mo., passed away on February 3, 2012. Jon was born on May 21,196l in Kansas City, Mo. His parents were Gene and Lodell Bolte Bremer, who survive.

Jon is also survivied by two brothers, Steve Bremer, Kearney, Mo., and Karl Bremer of Stillwater, Minn.; two aunts, Jean Bolte Castle of Longmont, Colo., and Lois R. Eichhoz of Smithton, Mo.; and numerous cousins.

He was preceeded in death by grandparents, Frank and Revo Bremer, and Oliver and Tina Bolte. He was the youngest grandchild of each.

Jon was a long time employee of Donnelly and Banta Printing. Jon held an associate degree from Maple Woods community college. He was honored as the Communications Student of the Year. He was a graduate of Kearney High School and also attended elementary schools in Minnesota and Virginia.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, February 6, 2012 at the Fry-Bross Spidle Funeral Home, Kearney, Mo. Services will be held the Kearney United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2012, followed by graveside services in Smithton, Mo., at 3 p.m. Contributoions may be made to the charity of choice.
