Jerry Crofut
Jerry D. Crofut, 70, Lawson, Mo., died Thursday, June 24, 2010. Mr. Crofut was born Dec. 12, 1939, in Navarro County, Texas, the son of Bert Earl Crofut and Lucille Holloway. He worked for 10 years at Ford Motor Company, and then at TWA as an airline mechanic from 1971 to 1998.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn, Lawson; his daughter, Gina McCall, Smithville, and Lori Camper; brother, Sonny Crofut; sister, Barbara Johnston; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, with memorial services following at 7:30 p.m., both at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs. Cremation, but burial at a later date in Hillcrest Cemetery in Excelsior Springs.
