Judith E. Davis
Judith E. Davis, 87, Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed into the heavenly arms of God’s eternal love September 2, 2015.
Judith was born March 6, 1928 to Lawrence and Esther Mason. Judith grew up in Kansas City, Kans. She graduated from Wyandotte High School. After graduation she moved to Excelsior Springs to work at the Elms Hotel. She married Bill D. Davis on April 22, 1950. During their 49 years of marriage they traveled throughout the U.S. and abroad. He passed away September 19, 1999.
Judy was active in many organizations including the Order of the Eastern Star, where she was Worthy Matron twice. She was past president of the Harmony Study Club. She was active in many other clubs of goodwill. She obtained her real estate broker’s license and was a long time member of Flack Memorial Christian Union Church.
Survivors include one son, William Michael Davis; two daughters, Karen Davis Flowerree and Laura Davis; one grandson, Hugh Flowerree II; one great grandson, Hudson Flowerree; one brother, Francis Mason and his children and grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Monday, September 7, 2015 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, with graveside services following at Masonic Cemetery, Excelsior Springs, Mo. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions to Parkinson’s Association.
