John William Grass
John William "Johnny" Grass, 72, Kearney, Mo., passed away April 15, 2015.
Johnny was born July 7, 1942 to Floyd Sr. and Naomi Grass in Excelsior Springs, Mo. He was a member of the Kearney and Excelsior VFW. He had worked as a carpenter and was a member of Carpenters Union Local 61 of Kansas City. Johnny loved the outdoors and spent a lot of time fishing, hunting, and mushroom hunting.
He is survived by his two sons, Roger and wife, Ila Grass, and Trent and wife, Rhonda Grass; grandsons, Brennon and Garron Grass; and special companion, Karen Reese.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 19, 2015 at his home.
Arrangements are through Bross & Spidle, Excelsior Springs.
