Robert "Jim" Hall
Robert James “Jim” Hall, 90, Kearney, Mo., died Monday, March 7, 2011. Mr. Hall was born March 3, 1921, in Kearney, the son of George and Addie Mae Weber Hall. After World War II, he took over his father’s business, serving as a bulk agent for Standard Oil until his retirement. He was also a charter member of the Kearney Fire Department. He was a member of First Christian Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Josephine Munkirs Cupito. Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Gerri Denney Hall; daughter, Rosa Lee; sons, Gary and Joe; sister, Helen Griffey; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Kearney, preceded by visitation at 1 p.m. Cremation and private burial. Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church in Kearney.
