Jane Ann Hanson
Jane Ann Hanson, 69, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away July 24, 2014.
Jane was born September 19, 1944 in Horton, Kans., to George and Marion (Jones) Moore. In 1967, Jane married Steve Hanson. She worked in the medical field as a medical transcriber. Jane was an avid animal lover and supporter of the ASPCA. She also loved her family.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and a grandson.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Steve Hanson; daughter, Dawn and Ben Keel; sons, Mike Hanson, Matt and Annette Hanson, and Steve Hanson; 14 grandchildren, two great grandchildren; sister, Eva Libel; and brother, Ted Moore.
Jane will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Cremation. Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Contributions may be made to the ASPCA (American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) in Jane’s name.
