John Bernard Hill
John B. Hill, 90, Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away March 13, 2016.
John was born September 14, 1925 to Carl and Margaret (Nolan) Hill in Winwood, Mo. John graduated high school and joined the United States Marine Corps serving in World War II. He worked at the Elms as a Chef and later as a custodian at Lewis Middle School for 15 years. John loved riding his motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, William J. and Vincent Hill.
He is survived by his wife, Norma of the home; son, Sonny Hill; two girls (daughters) that he raised as his own, Mary Grayson and Tina Stevens; grandchild, Brianna Lammers; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
Memorial visitation will be from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Excelsior Springs, Mo., with Military Honors at 4:30 p.m. Cremation.
