James Jones
James Jones passed away July 29, 2015 at the age of 84. He passed away at the Excelsior Springs Convalescent Center.
James was born on December 27, 1930 to parents Alton and Alice Jones in Leachville, Ark. James was a truck driver for Coca-Cola and Kitty Clover Potato Chip Company. James was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He also loved gardening.
James is preceded in death by his loving wife, Tommie; his parents; and two siblings.
James is survived by his sons, Bill Jones, Jimmy Jones and wife, Janice, Dennis Jones, and Thomas Jones and wife, Luaan; daughter, Susan Mynear and husband, Tom; sister, Helen Golden; brother, Johnny Jones and wife, Geraldine; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service held at 11 a.m. on August 18, 2015 at Lone Jack Cemetery in Lone Jack, Mo.
Arrangements are through Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.
