Jerrell Blane Livesay

Jerrell Blane Livesay, 57, of Trimble, Mo., went to be with our Lord October 7, 2016, after a massive stroke.

Jerrell dearly loved is wife, Denise, of 22 years, his dog, Belle, and “The Great Outdoors”, whether that meant driving through the Africa bush, sitting in his deer stand near home, walking with his cherished dog, Belle, in the field, hiking, or just sitting on his porch.

Jerrell had great love for his family and friends. He has left a lasting imprint on the hearts of those he touched. With his humor, his strong sense of loyalty, his independence, Jerrell lived life full tilt.

His incredible work ethic made him a valued Electronic Technician for Hammel Scale for almost 30 years.

Jerrell is survived by his wife Denise Hurley Livesay; parents, Carroll and Ann (McCoskey) Livesay; siblings, Gary and wife, Valerie Livesay, Brenda and husband, Mike Ferguson, Valerie Sweatt, and Melanie and husband, Edward Spencer; four nieces; and eight nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Monday, October 10, 2016, at Fry-Bross Spidle Funeral Home in Kearney, Mo.

Services will be in Mattoon, Ill. at 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at Mattoon First United Methodist Church, with burial to follow in Hindsboro, Ill., at the Van Voorhis Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Arley United Methodist Church or the American Heart Association.
