Joan Muns
Joan Muns, 84, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away March 20, 2013. Joan was born September 26, 1928 in Lawson, Mo., to Homer and Goldie Davis Martin. She was a Baptist and attended William Jewel College. Joan touched the lives of many people as the owner of Ray’s Lunch for 19 years
Joan was preceded by her parents and children, Nancy (Holt) Johnson and John Holt.
Survivors include son and wife, Terry and Holly Muns, daughter and husband, Jill and Kim Curtis, and daughter and husband, Shelley and David McKown; sister and her companion, Gayle L. Martin and Bill; eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She also leaves many other extended family members.
Memorial services will be 4 p.m. on March 29, 2013 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs. Visitation is from 3 to 4 p.m. prior to the service. Cremation.
