Joan E. Nance
Joan E. Nance, 89, Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away December 20, 2015.
Joan was born September 28, 1926 in Providence, R.I., to Clarence G. and Maude Hoey Allen.
She was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. She worked many years as a sales clerk at JCPenney.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Goode and husband, Donald, Bob Nance and wife, Sally, Betty Nance, and Bruce Nance and wife, Deborah; 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, December 27, 2015, followed by funeral service at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, with burial following at Hillcrest Cemetery, Excelsior Springs, Mo. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to the church.
Arrangements are through Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.
