Jackie Newlun
Jackie L. Newlun passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2012 in Holt, Mo. Jackie was born February 27, 1941 in Glasgow, Ill. Jackie served in the U.S. Army from 1960-1964. Jackie then worked for General Motors at the Fairfax plant in Kansas City, Kans. He retired with 34 years of service.
Jackie is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sue Newlun. He is also survived by sons, Brian Newlun of Holt, Mo., Gary and Linda Newlun of Holt, Mo., Timothy Newlun of Holt, Mo., Ronald and Judy McGaha of Kansas City, Mo., and Russell Newlun of Holt, Mo.; four grandchildren, John and Jayson Newlun of Kansas City, Mo., and Anthony and Angela McGaha of Kansas City, Mo.
Jackie was preceded in death by his parents, Reamey and Jessie Newlun, brothers, Merle and Edward Newlun, and sister, Bernice Hannel, all of Glasgow Ill.
Private services will be held. Jackie will be truly missed by all who knew him. Arrangements through Fry-Bross & Spidle, Kearney, Mo.
