James Ferril Sisk
Ferril Sisk, 100, Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away September 22, 2014 at his home. Ferril was born May 27, 1914 to James H. and Mary Alice McGuire Sisk in Excelsior Springs, Mo.
He spent most of his life as an entrepreneur owning many businesses.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Pauline; son, J. C. Sisk; two grandchildren; and nine brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his daughter, Doris Filley; son, Bradley K. Sisk; sister, Catherine C. McAfee; five grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, September 27, 2014 with service following at 11 a.m. Family burial at a later date at New Garden North Cemetery.
Arrangements are through Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.
