Julia A. Sullivant
Julia A. Sullivant, 87, Excelsior Springs, passed March 6, 2012. Julia was born May 18, 1924 to John E. and Cady Wallace Washburn in Embree, Mo. Julia was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, D.A.V., and the Women’s Auxiliary of the VFW. She worked as a forklift operator.
She is preceded by her parents and her husband, Junior J.C. Sullivant.
Julia is survived by her son, John A. Sullivant of Excelsior Springs; daughter and her husband, Judy A. and Dale McCall of Holt; sisters, Betty Heller and Laura Hall; brother, William Washburn; two grandchildren, Benjamin McCall and Molly G. Barlow, and one great-granddaughter, Olivia G. Barlow.
Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2012 at St. Ann Catholic Church. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 8 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs. Donations may be made to the church, Valley Manor or Hospice.
