Kitty Sue Stewart
Kitty Sue (Adams) Stewart, 75, Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away peacefully in her sleep October 22, 2016.
Kitty was born September 9, 1941 to Harlan and Mary B. (Farley) Adams in Kirksville, Mo. She attended school at Kirksville and Revere.
Kitty enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, gardening, horses and garage sales. She enjoyed going on trips on the Oats Bus. She enjoyed crafting with her children and grandchildren. Kitty never met a stranger and would help anyone if she could. She was feisty, witty and always had a quick comeback. She was a member of New life Ministries. She was a long time successful member of AA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Nancy Beatrice Adams.
She is survived by her daughters, Leona Ingerson and Jennifer Dolde; grandchildren, Tara Ross, Stormy Williams, James Ross, Stephen Owens, and Brett Darrow; step grandchildren, Terry, Lewis and Elizabeth Ingerson; several great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, October 30, 2016 at the Oaks Apartments Lobby, Excelsior Springs, Mo.
Arrangements are through Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.
