Lisa Nicole Clevenger
Lisa Nicole Clevenger, 35, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away January 13, 2016.
Lisa was born August 25, 1980 in Excelsior Springs, Mo., to David Clevenger and Monica Dye. Lisa had worked as a receptionist for many years at the Elms Hotel's spa. Lisa loved swimming and walking. One of her favorite things was to spend the day at the pool with her sons. She also loved collecting owls. Most of all though, Lisa loved spending time with her children. She was an amazing mom and enjoyed many activities with them.
Lisa was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gene and Betty Clevenger and John E. and Georgia Cedar.
Survivors include her parents, David W. Clevenger and Monica Dye; sons, Jerod Michael Hawkins and Jace David Clevenger; sister, Vickie Lynn Payne-Walker; brothers, Sean W. Payne and Ben David Clevenger; and nieces and nephews, Dawson and Madison Walker, Courtney Taylor, and Blaze Pollard; as well as other extended family and friends.
Lisa was loved and will be missed dearly.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Kearney, Mo. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2016, followed by burial at Antioch Cemetery in Holt, Mo.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for her son’s education funds.
