Linda Kay Scobee-Elliott-Daughterty-Dice
Linda Kay Dice, 65, Kansas City, Mo., passed away September 20, 2013 at North Kansas City Hospital. Linda was a “Tough Old Bird”, fighting 15 years after her first heart attack.
Linda was born October 29, 1947 to Cecil Raymond and Peggy Mae (Smith) Scobee in Excelsior Springs, Mo. She was a past member of Elmira Baptist Church and graduated from Lawson High School.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Arthur Ray Daugherty and Andy O. Dice; grandsons, Nicholas Cole Daugherty, Brandon Lee Daugherty and Nathan Scott Rawlings-Miles; and son-in-law, Dale Miles.
She is survived by five children, son, Terry Elliott, and daughters, Stacy Elliott-Miles, Renee Thurston, Shanna (Richard) Vaughn, Andria Dice and Sue Miller; 15 grandchildren; and brother, Marvin Scobee.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2013 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home Excelsior Springs, Mo. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2013, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Elmira Cemetery.
