Elizabeth "Lisa" Edwards
Elizabeth Jarrett “Lisa” (Kirwan) Edwards, 45, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009. Mrs. Edwards was born May 26, 1964, in Kansas City, the daughter of Kevin Kirwan and Claudia (Wolfing). She was married to J.D. Edwards II on May 31, 1986.
Survivors include her children, Sarah Elizabeth Edwards and Jimmie Don Edwards III; her parents, Kevin Kirwan and Claudia Weishaar; her stepfather, Lyle Weishaar; her sister, Leslie (Kirwan) House, Carthage; her brothers, Patrick, St. Joseph, Michael, Leawood, Kan., and Sean, Lenexa, Kan.; stepsisters, Stephanie Weishaar, Blue Springs, and Denise Workman, Overland Park, Kan.; four nieces; and five nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, at Pisgah Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, also at the church. Arrangements are through Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs.
