Lester Hicks
Lester Allen Hicks, 56, Excelsior Springs, Mo., died Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at his home. Mr. HIcks was born Jan. 1, 1955, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Burton Meachan and Colleen Arlu Allen Hicks. He worked for Ford Motor Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Theresa Hicks, Des Moines, Iowa; sons, Michael A. Hicks and Robert M. Hicks; and one brother, Stan Hicks.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 7, at Highland Memorial Gardens in Des Moines, Iowa. Two visitations will be held: one from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 6, at Caldwell Raddatz Mortuary in Des Moines, Iowa, and the other from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 5, at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs. Arrangements are through Bross & Spidle Funeral Home.
