Larry Lee Holtzclaw
Larry Lee Holtzclaw, 67, of Kearney, Mo., died June 7, 2014 after a lengthy illness. He was born June 24, 1946 to James DeMond (J.D.) and Mary Francis (Polly) Holtzclaw.
Larry graduated Smithville High School, then served in the Navy for several years. He was a member of Operating Engineer’s Local 101 before retiring after 30 years as a heavy equipment mechanic. He worked for Clarkson Construction many years prior to retiring.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jim and Ricky Holtzclaw.
Larry is survived by his wife, Andrea; daughter, Kristin; son, Adam; grandchildren, Alex, Evelyn, Jeremy and Jessica; great granddaughter, Marlena; sister, Peggy Jo; and many extended family and friends.
Services will be 3 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2014 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, Mo.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Children’s Mercy Hospital.
