Leonard L. Lathrop
Leonard "Lenny" L. Lathrop, 65, Kearney, Mo., passed away May 17, 2014. Lenny was born April 16, 1949 to Bernie and Etta Lathrop in Monticello, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Larry Lathrop; and two nieces, Sherlyn Ann and Etta Mae Lathrop.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy, of the home; sons, Nathan (Leslie) Lathrop and Ashley (Katie) Lathrop; daughters, Lori (Randy) Gauthier and Wendi (Ronnie) Shahan; sisters, Louise Lathrop, Lucy Lathrop, and Lenore Gallup; and six grandchildren, Piper, Jalen, Dilyn, Evan, Lauren, and Lindsey.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Kearney, Mo., with services at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014, also at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. at Sunnyside Cemetery, Lincoln, Mo.
Contributions may be made to the family for a memorial at a later time.
