Lloyd Charles Massey
Mr. Lloyd Charles Massey, 88 years old, lifetime resident and farmer of Kearney, Mo., died October 12, 2013 at Liberty Hospital.
Lloyd was born September 18, 1925 to Charles Tapp and Nellie Edith (Thompson) Massey in Kearney, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Sue Stockwell and Mary Irene Gabbert.
He leaves his wife of 59 years, Dorothy of the home; four children, Michael Massey, Laura Massey, Loretta Massey, and Lisa and husband, Brad Musgrove; six grandchildren, Jake and wife, Ashlee Massey, Matthew Massey, Michael D. Massey, Ailee and husband, Jacob Tice, Cole Musgrove and Dalton Musgrove; two great grandsons, Easton Massey and Hudson Tice; and one step great grandson, Maddox Chenoweth.
Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Kearney, Mo. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 17, 2013, also at the funeral home. Burial following at Fairview Cemetery, Kearney, Mo.
