Lawrence William Spry
Lawrence William Spry was born January 6, 1919 in Liberty, Mo., to William and Vivian Allene Stephens Spry. Lawrence was a farmer all his life. He was a member of Water District Board #6, National Farmers Organization (NFO), Missouri City Reunion Committee, and Lathrop Steam Engine Association. He was also a 4-H Leader and a volunteer for FFA.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Mae Spry.
Survivors include sons, Wayne E. Spry and Linda Rose, and Randall G. Spry and Jan; daughter, Martha E. Offutt and Bob; brother, Lloyd and Betty Spry; grandchildren, Shelly Bronson, Kelly Allen, Dan Spry, Matt Spry, Bill Offutt, Dana Hazen and Rita, Leslie Richards and Mike, Bob Offutt and Jenny, Debbie Cottle and Maddie; and great grandchildren, Kenneth and David Bronson, Dakota Allen, Cooper Spry, Haley Jo Spry, Broden Spry, Amber Ashley and Addi Hazen, Trenton and Mya Smith, Austin and Natalie Richards, and Robert Michael and Benjamin Offutt.
Memorial contributions may be made to Missouri City Schools.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday May 6, 2014 at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Kearney, Mo., followed by inurnment at Glenridge Cemetery in Liberty, Mo. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service.
