Michael Edward Day Sr.
Michael Edward Day Sr., 67, of Parkville, Mo., passed away February 25, 2015.
Michael was born October 27, 1947 in Kansas City, Mo., to Glenn C. and Dorothy E. Day. Michael proudly served his country in the United States Navy during Vietnam. He later worked as a truck driver for H&W Motor Express. He was also a member of the VFW and the American Legion.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Day; first wife, Lydia A. Day; granddaughter, Jessica Day; and nephews, Charles Day and Walter Day.
Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Cooper; sons, Timmy Day, Michael Day Jr., and Benjamin Day; sister, Cynthia Whitten; and brother, Glen Charles Day.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Kearney, Mo. Visitation will be held from 1-to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Kearney, Mo.
