Mary Denney
Mary Ruth Denney, 89, Kearney, Mo., died Saturday, March 5, 2011, in Bethany, Mo. Ms. Denney was born Nov. 16, 1921, in Kearney, the daughter of Allen and Anna Elizabeth Francis Riley. She was a member of Kearney First Baptist Church. She worked as a teller at the Kearney Commercial Bank.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings and her husband, Everett Denney. Survivors include one daughter, Jane Twiss; four sons, John Denney, Phil Denney, Bill Denney and Mark Denney; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 10, at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Kearney. Visitation will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, prior to the service. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Kearney.
