Marvin L. Ealey
Marvin L. Ealey, 80, Kearney, Mo., passed away November 12, 2012 at his
home. Mr. Ealey was born March 20, 1932 in Liberty, Mo., to James and
Blanche (Jacobs) Ealey. Mr. Ealey served his country in the U.S. Army
during the Korean War. On February 20, 1953 he married Genevieve
(Wilson). Mr. Ealey was a supervisor for the City Water Department in
Liberty, Mo. He held this position for 35 years.
Mr. Ealey was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Hub and Danny
Ealey, and his wife, Genevieve.
Mr. Ealey is survived by his sons, Jeff (Jessie) Thomas, Gerald (Terry)
Ealey; daughter, Kathy (Steve) Thomas; grandchildren, Joshua Thomas,
Jennifer McElwee, Christopher Ealey, Katy Ealey and Callie Reese Ealey
and Grant; great grandchildren, Jenna, Jesse, Brayden, Kaylee, Carli,
Lexus, and Chloe; brothers, Bennie Ealey and Virgil Ealey; and many
nieces and nephews.
Mr. Ealey will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2012 at
Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11
a.m. at the funeral home, with burial in Glenridge Cemetery, Liberty,
Mo.
