Marvin Daniel Garrett
Marvin Daniel (Danny) Garrett, 75, of Richmond, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016, at North Kansas City Hospital.
Danny was born June 2, 1941, in Orrick, the son of Marvin Garrett and Mary Belle McFee Green.
Survivors include his companion of 34 years, Lynda Baker; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Daniel Garrett and Faron Garrett, Kenny and Donna Baker, all of Richmond; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sherri and Denver Horton and Trudi and Andy Suha, of Richmond, Jennifer and Dan DaMitz, of Camdenton; one brother, Michael Garrett, of Richmond; four sisters and brothers-in-laws, Connie and John Huskey, of Liberty, Kan., Cathy and David Parman, of Warsaw, Marilyn and Bill Randle, of Richmond, and Joyce and David Noble, of Kearney.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Scott Garrett and Curtis Garrett; one brother, Kenneth Garrett; and one sister, Carolyn Wholf.
Danny was a loving father, grandpa, brother and friend.
Danny wished to be cremated and that no services be held. There will be a celebration of life at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Rock Falls Baptist Church, Orrick.
