Madeleine Elise Hosticka
Madeleine Elise Hosticka, 84, Liberty, Mo., passed away October 11, 2013. Madeleine was born July 7, 1929 in France to Georges and Alice (Brunet) Blois.
She was a member of St. James Catholic Church. Madeleine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and an example of Christianity for her family and community.
Madeline was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Simone Ales and Renee Siegrist.
She is survived by her husband of sixty years, Frank, and their six children, Alice (Michael) Roper, Ann (Jack) Martin, Aline (Kevin) Mirus, Mark (Suzanne) Hosticka, Geralyn (Kurt Esfeld) Hosticka and Gerette (Romualdo) Carravetta; 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs, Mo. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. on Monday, October 14, 2013 at St. James Catholic Church, Liberty, Mo. Burial will be at a later date at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, North Riverside, Ill. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Liberty Women’s Clinic.
