Marianne Lawson
Marianne Lawson, 85, of Holt, Mo., went home to be with her Savior on Friday, July 15, 2016.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Irene Frendle, and grandson, Bobby Lawson.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard Lawson of the home; her two children, Janet Mayo of Kearney, Mo., and Jerry Lawson of Kearney, Mo.; and her brother, Kenny Frendle of Liberty, Mo. Marianne had four grandchildren, Andy and Carrie Mayo, both of Kansas City, Mo., Bobby Lawson, deceased, and Crystal Bomar of Kearney, Mo.; seven great-grandchildren, Sindri Mohr of Liberty, Mo., Madison and Lilly Goss of Gladstone, Mo., Charlotte Zahakis of Fort Collins, Colo., Kylee and Kalan Bomar of Kearney, Mo., and Autumn Mayo of Kansas City, Mo.
Marianne graduated from East High School in Kansas City, Mo. Her parents moved to a farm in Holt, Mo. in 1947 where she lived a few years before getting married. Leonard and Marianne lived in Kearney for about 10 years and then moved to the family acreage in Holt, Mo., where they presently resided.
Marianne and Leonard were married on December 22, 1956. Marianne loved flower gardening and was especially fond of her day lilies. She and Leonard attended Kearney Bible Church. She was a member of the Kearney Garden Club.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kearney Bible Church.
