Minerva Roe
Minerva E. Roe, 73, Orrick, Mo., died Monday, May 31, 2010. Ms. Roe was born March 10, 1937, in Lansing, Kan., the daughter of Charlie and Crystal Bacon Walters. She was a member of Union Baptist Church and was involved in several social and civic organizations.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice E. Roe. Survivors include her daughters, Loraine Jenkins and Brenda Blyth; four grandchildren, Tabatha, Jedediah, Jessica and Dallas; and three great-grandchildren, Amanda, Cheyenne and Austin.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 5, at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs. Burial will be in Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Orrick. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, and the family will be at the home of Loraine Jenkins on Thursday and Friday.
