Marjorie Kelly
Marjorie E. Kelly, 81, of Kearney, Mo., passed away Tuesday August 28 at Northcare Hospice House.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Lucy Pennington of Bosworth, Mo., and her sister, Mary Bates of Carrollton, Mo.
An avid button collector and talented cross-stitcher, Marjorie is survived by her husband of 61 years, Virgil (Woody) Kelly; three sisters, Doris McMichael (Clyde) of Liberty, Mo., Elsie McFadden (Paul) of Ottowa, Kans., and Betty Wilson (Wayne) of Bosworth, Mo.; four sons, Eddie Kelly (Sherry) of North Kansas City, Mo., Roy Kelly (Pattie) of Holt, Mo., Doug Kelly (Dena) of Kearney, Mo., and Tim Kelly (Beth) of Richmond, Mo.; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Friday, September 7 with a Celebration of Life Service immediately following. Visitation and services will be at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Kearney, Mo. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society or Northcare Hospice House in Marjorie’s name.
